Tasteful Temptations, a great catering company based out of St Simons Island, GA needed their website re-designed so that they could update the website whenever they want.  Well, I made that happen.  I transfered their existing site from XHTML to a Content Management System.  I added some Javascript on the site to make it a little cleaner too.  There’s only one more addition that I need to make on the site, and that is a flash file for the Cakes page. I have recently finished a website for Communities in Schools, a local organization aimed to help kids keep from dropping out of school.  This great program is known throughout the US and has local “chapters” in many cities.  The local CIS here in Glynn County needed a website that could be easily updated and a place where locals could donate money or other resources.  I built this site using the WordPress framework along with some Javascript. Now the school administrator can login, update their live calendar, add new pages and links, and keep parents and donors up to date on all the latest happenings.  The custom WordPress theme that I built was based on a Mootools Javascript file and a very simple layout with a fixed background.

First of all, please excuse my blog design right now.  It’s a work in progress as I have no time to work on my OWN stuff!  Anyway – a recording artist based out of Chicago, IL has just hired me to do a little WordPress work for him.  He needed a custom blog theme designed to match his current website.  His past WordPress theme looked nothing like his current website and he wanted it to keep with the current layout. I also added some library items to the blog so that he could update them as he releases new music and updates his calendar.

I find that a lot of people could use a custom theme to make their blog look just like their website.  This makes the website look much more professional and cohesive.  The name of the blog that I just worked on was MC Zulu.com If you like his music, buy one of his CD’s!
